A chimney sweep is the simplest preventive step you can take for your home — and the one that pays back the most. Creosote builds up silently in the flue every time you burn wood; left unchecked, it’s the leading cause of chimney fires.
Our sweeps follow current industry standards: a Level-1 visual inspection, mechanical cleaning, and a written summary of what we found. You see photos before we hand you a quote. We won’t recommend work that doesn’t need doing.
Most single-flue sweeps take 45–75 minutes. If we find something — a cracked crown, a missing cap, a deteriorated liner — we’ll show you and explain your options. Nothing gets fixed without your sign-off.
While we’re at your home, we also clean air ducts. Over the years ducts collect dust, dander, and debris that the furnace pushes back into every room. A thorough air-duct cleaning cuts that buildup, helps the system run efficiently, and can ease seasonal allergies — ask us to take a look at your ducts during your next sweep.
